Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR) was developed to bridge the price-performance gap between FKM/FVMQ and NBR. Compared to NBR, HNBR has better oil resistance, temperature properties and strength.

FKMs or fluoroelastomers, are a family of elastomers with resistance to a broad range of chemicals combined with very good high temperature properties. Specialty types with differing monomer compositions and fluorine content are tailored for superior fluid resistance, low and high temperature performance, and combinations thereof. Simon Industry Corp. have more high performence FKM rubber than others, like Viton (Trade Mark).

Silicones (VMQ) have good heat resistance and cold flexibility, weathering resistance, and good insulating and physiologically neutral properties. Compared to silicone, fluorosilicones (FVMQ) have fluorinated side chains for good oil and fuel resistance.

ACM and Eethylene acrylic elastomers (AEM) are both heat and fluid resistant for flexible applications. Products range from hoses and dampers to seals and gaskets.
